I call this paranormal, but some might call it fantasy instead. There is a lot of world building, back story and character development. If you like a story with all the details covered, you will like this one. If you prefer a fast moving story, you will probably be disappointed by the pace of this one. The hero is hot, a warrior, and also caring. The heroine is determined, devoted, and isn't given to fits of emotional tears. I got frustrated with the heroine because she all too often would put something aside to be dealt with later. It got annoying after about the third time. No matter how busy or how huge your immediate issues are, you can't keep delaying dealing with other things. There were some really good secondary characters that were entertaining. This was a solid story with a steady pace. There was mystery, romance, magic, and a normal array of reactions to devastating problems.Product details

This book is exciting and full of suspense . I recommend this book to those who love mysteries. Warning has some adult content
Interesting plot, but it seemed to jump from one scenario to the next without filling in details. I also have an issue with all of the spelling and grammatical errors. Almost seems to be written by and for pre-teens.
This book could have been a 5 star if not for the flow. It's almost as if large chunks have been edited out that were necessary to the continuity of the story. Good solid plot, and well thought out characters but once again the narrative just seems to be missing some pieces. If the sequels are inexpensive enough, I might consider continuing the series, but not at full price.
